Blue Belt
The blue belt is the first black belt prep grading as you have to show everything that you have learned and been assessed on up to this belt. To pass this belt you have to show all green belt and the blue belt forms. Show all 5 kick combinations and show that you have improved yourself and your forms beyond your last grading.

As this is a much longer form than any previous I shall right the steps out in bullet form and then flesh them out either later or right up some lessons on them.
Step 1. - Start position. Step out with left leg - horse form while thrusting both clawed hands out Step 2. - Circle right and left hand left up and around to stack on the right side and 'Hold the ball' while you step back to feet together with your left leg. Step 3. - Turn eyes to the left, step out with the left leg into a forward stance and swipe across with the left arm in a clawed hand. Palm with the right and then front kick and step forward. Step 4. - Palm with the left and then front kick and step forward. Step forward with the right leg and swipe down with the right hand to form the ball on the left side. Step 5. - Step up with the left leg and turn eyes right. Step 6 -7. - Repeat steps 3 and 4 making sure to change sides though. Step 8. - Turn eyes to the left, raise left knee and pivot 90 degrees to the left so that you face the start direction. As you put your foot down stab with your back hand, then grab with it and pull back to your hip as you cut with your left. Back fist comes forward as you do a right round-house and step forward. Step 9. - Stab with your back hand, then grab with it and pull back to your hip as you cut with your right. Back fist comes forward as you do a left round-house and step forward. |
Step 10. - As you land with your left foot double stab downwards - palms down - Step forward and as you do circles the arms to the side and stab upwards with the fingertips - palms up and pointing in slightly.- Step 11. - Cross the forearms as you make claws, pivot on the right leg as you raise the left knee and spin around 270 degrees around to your left. Your left side should be facing the start direction holding a level one eagle. Step 12. - Step down, circle the arms down and do a right high kick but keep the knee bent holding a single leg posture. Step 13. - Circle the arms upwards and do a jump front kick. As you place your left leg down place your left arm across your torso 'resting on a table' then step forward and palm/grab with your right hand forming the claws of lion. Step 14-16. - Repeat steps 11 to 13 making sure to change sides as you do so. (The next steps are shown with a sideways view in the 2nd video clip) Step 17. - Pivot 90 degrees to the right so that your are now right leg forward facing the start direction. Turn your head to look over your right shoulder and do a backwards side kick stepping down Step 18. - Turn your head to the left and do a spinning left hook kick so that you spin 180 degrees and have your back facing the start direction. Step 19. - With the right leg front kick to the inside of the knee towards your left and then follow with a side kick to your off line right to take out the other leg. Step forward and down with the right and as you do so cut across with your right hand. Step 20. - Circle the right hand so that it becomes palm up, step forward with the left leg and elbow downward into your palm forming a very strong left forward stance. Step 21. - Step up with the left leg feet together and hold the ball on the right Step 22. - Turn eyes to the right and then left as you spin your left leg around 270 degrees into step 3. step out with the left leg into a forward stance and swipe across with the left arm in a clawed hand. Palm with the right and then front kick and step forward. Step 23. - Palm with the left and then front kick and step forward. Step forward with the right leg and swipe down with the right hand to form the ball on the left side. Step 24. - Step up with the left leg and turn eyes right. Step 25 -26. - Repeat steps 22 and 23 making sure to change sides though. Step 27. - Step back with the left leg into a low horse form as your left arm moves across the torso. As you move into the horse form thrust both hands out and palm/ claw Step 28. - Step back to the start position with your left leg and this time circle your hands down - around - and then down again running them from the crown of your head to your waist and then to your side. This is different from the other empty hand forms that moved them up and around. |
